Ruta Braziene

Ruta Braziene holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Sociology). She is a Chief Researcher and Expert with major experience in the fields of Gender (In)equality, Gender and Development, Labor Market and Employment Policies (employment of vulnerable groups: youth, women, elderly, disabled and etc.), Program analysis and evaluation, Research and data analysis, Survey Design. Ruta has more than 20 years of scholarly and practical experience with Universities, local Governments and NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe, United Nations (UN) and European Commission. Since 2016, Ruta is a member of European Union (EU) Commissions experts network SAAGE (Scientific analysis and advice on gender equality in the EU). She is also a full member of International Network on Leave Policies and Research. Ruta’s strengths include building partnerships, raising and managing grants, implementing projects, conducting research and evaluating programming.
