Tasmeer Ali

Tasmeer has been with FDR over a year after graduating from the International Development Graduate Program at Humber College, Toronto, Tasmeer is fluent in English and Arabic and has an interest in holistic health of refugee women and girls. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 2017 with an Honors Bachelor Degree in Science, with a double major in Health Science and Neuropsychology. Since then, she has collaborated with the Syrian refugee population in the Greater Toronto Area and engaged with Pakistani Youth in major universities in Lahore to generate discussions around mental health. She has also worked with Johns Hopkins Medicine in Saudi Arabia to advocate for the awareness and acceptance of mental health and mental illness in local communities.
